Master & panic

Master level multiplies every channel and is applied last — after the profile, the output window and the curve. Panic drives every channel to the panic level and holds it there, ignoring the bus, until it is cleared.

Per channel: how the holding-register value is read, the dimming curve, the output window and the ramp. Order of application is profile → min/max → curve → master level → ramp.

Groups

Eight logical groups, each a free selection of channels — they need not follow the four physical driver rails. A level written to any member is mirrored once to every channel sharing a group with it; overlapping groups do not loop, and the last write wins.

Scenes

Eight scenes of 32 levels. Save captures the levels the channels are commanded to right now; recall applies them. A scene can also be recalled from holding register 436, from a button or from an input.

Stairs

On-board sequencer. Mode is how a run starts (one-shot or hold while presence). Pattern is the drawing — sequential, all, wave, comet, center, random. Hydrates only after the stairs section arrives.
